I have always been ready to come to Ukraine and I am still ready today. So, if you deliver the message, I can come as early as tomorrow, – the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili said in an interview with the Ukrainskaya Pravda.
A journalist asked her why she didn’t come to Ukraine after the war started when many Western leaders were there to show solidarity.
In addition, when asked why President Volodymyr Zelensky did not invite her to Ukraine, Salome Zurabishvili answered: “It is not personal, and I think this is what we have described as the unsatisfactory relations between government circles at this stage.”
“So in a way, I feel the effects of it, but again, I’m ready and I’m confident that we’ll have an opportunity. I hope that such an opportunity will appear on the Crimea platform,” Zurabishvili said.
In addition, when asked whether she had received an invitation, the President of Georgia replied that she has not yet. “I think it is not organized yet,” said Salome Zurabishvili.
