- Enhance Your Driving Experience with TBC Mobile Bank’s Auto Comfort Service
TBC Mobile Bank has introduced the Auto Comfort service, designed to simplify the lives of car owners. By simply adding your vehicle to TBC Mobile Bank, you can take advantage of this convenient feature.
Previously, checking for traffic fines required accessing a separate platform and searching for the receipt or tech-passport number. Now, you can view and pay fines within a minute using TBC Mobile Bank.
Most notably, Mobile Bank will now send push notifications to remind you when:
- Your vehicle receives a fine.
- A fine needs to be paid before a discount expires.
- The fine is about to incur additional charges.
To receive these reminders, ensure push notifications are enabled in your mobile settings for the TBC application. This way, you’ll never miss a payment deadline for patrol fines.
Auto Comfort is a new feature of TBC Mobile Bank, created to streamline daily tasks for car owners. By adding your vehicle to TBC Mobile Bank, you can:
– Pay fines without a receipt number: Your fines will automatically appear in the app, regardless of whether the fine is digital or physical. No need to save the notice or receipt beforehand.
– Pay fines without additional fees: Unlike before, where a fee was charged when paying fines via a special platform, now you only pay the fine amount through TBC Mobile Bank.
– Access parking pass information: Never get ticketed for an expired parking pass again. TBC Mobile Bank now provides information on your parking permits, making the renewal process seamless.
How to Activate Auto Comfort
To activate Auto Comfort, search for “Parking and Fines” or the “Product Activation” section in TBC Mobile Bank and add your vehicle. You can activate this service for multiple cars.
The service is free to activate until September 1, 2024. Afterward, a fee of 0.9₾ per month per vehicle will apply.
- TBC and Propertify: Empowering Small Investors in Georgia’s Real Estate Market
In Georgia, the development business is rapidly growing, but the abundance of construction companies and diverse projects hasn’t resolved a significant issue identified by Giorgi Kifiani, the executive director of the new company Propertify.
“Every business in Georgia faces one major challenge: lack of initial capital,” Kifiani explains. “Businesses continually seek investors to inject private capital, convincing banks of their project’s viability to expand. The real estate sector is no different. Developers also struggle to mobilize capital at the project’s outset. This realization shaped our final concept: creating a new channel for development companies to generate cash flow.”
Propertify addresses a common situation where individuals have small amounts of capital (5-10-15 thousand GEL) but find it challenging to invest in real estate. Traditionally, such investors would have to save for years or take bank loans to purchase property. Propertify offers a solution.
“Instead of requiring people to buy entire apartments, we divide them. For instance, a 100 sq. m. apartment is split into 100 fractions. Interested individuals can purchase as many fractions as they desire. Early in construction, apartment prices are relatively low, often doubling upon completion. Previously, only large-capital investors could benefit from this pre-emption. We wanted to extend this opportunity to smaller investors, allowing them to profit from construction progress. This is standard fractional ownership in real estate.”
Operating for a year, Propertify launched its platform three months ago after completing technology and branding stages. The response has been positive from both investors and developers. “We reached out to TBC when we lacked financial resources. Their timely support helped us make the final leap, confirming our idea’s viability. TBC’s bank loan approval was crucial.”
Technology enables Propertify to split and sell assets in fractions, an ideal model for real estate developers. “Developers get cash upfront and access to a previously untapped audience. For buyers, what was once possible only for high-budget investors is now available to those with $2,000.”
This model is novel, and user behavior is still developing. Propertify is unique not just in Georgia but globally, offering this service to developers and investors. While many companies allow customers to buy completed real estate using this model, Propertify effectively addresses the needs of both developers and low-budget investors.
Involving banks is an effective safeguard against unforeseen events. Propertify never enters a project without bank participation. Initially, the bank verifies financial and technical compliance, then monitors construction and fund allocation, indirectly protecting investors.
By collaborating with TBC, Propertify has created a unique opportunity for small investors to enter Georgia’s booming real estate market, democratizing access to property investment and fostering economic growth.
- TBC Named Best Bank for Treasury Products and Cash Management by Global Finance
For the third consecutive year, TBC has been named the best bank in Georgia for treasury products and cash management by the international financial magazine Global Finance.
This recognition was based on several criteria: customer service, innovative products, profitability, and market share.
One standout product contributing to this award is the modern Bulk Cash-in machine, introduced by TBC in 2021. This machine efficiently manages cash and simplifies business processes for customers, allowing them to deposit any amount of cash—both bills and coins—into their company’s account at any location in Georgia, any time of day or night, without needing physical contact.
Currently, 100 of these devices are installed at TBC branches and client company locations. In 2023 alone, these machines handled up to 2 billion GEL in cash transactions.

- TBC Partners with GEO MATIC to Offer Unique Services to Drivers
According to statistics, Georgia has 418 cars per 1,000 people. Considering that nearly every other person owns a car, it’s surprising that GEO MATIC’s newly introduced service for drivers has only now been established in the country.
GEO MATIC devices, which will be found at car washes and other relevant locations, offer customers two unique products: a disposable glass cleaning cloth and a disposable cardboard mat. The company’s founder, Shota Gabaidze, began developing this idea two years ago:
“We created four different prototypes of the device and selected one. The manufacturing process took about a year. Our offerings are technologically and innovatively unique. The cloth we use to clean car windows often becomes a source of unpleasant odors and unsanitary conditions, posing a risk to passengers, especially children. Our disposable cloth, which can be purchased from our machine at a minimal price, is made of a multifunctional microfiber material and can be used on both the inner and outer surfaces of car windows. The second product, particularly beneficial for taxi drivers, is a disposable cardboard mat. This mat helps maintain cleanliness in the car cabin for extended periods, especially in rainy weather or with frequent passenger changes. Both products can be purchased from the same machine at a minimal price.”
While both products are “disposable,” they are not single-use items. The antibacterial, biodegradable cloth can be reused multiple times for window cleaning, although the company recommends a single use if the entire car is cleaned. The cardboard mat is durable and highly absorbent, functional for 4-5 days.
These devices will operate automatically 24/7 and, according to the founder, will be installed in numerous locations across Tbilisi and other cities in Georgia. Initially, the devices will be placed in laundromats, but future plans include installations in shopping center garages, auto fairs, and other locations. Six devices are already operational in Tbilisi, with six more expected soon. TBC Bank and Amade Georgia supported the acquisition of some of these devices. GEO MATIC is a technologically innovative business, and TBC’s innovative approach made them the ideal partner for this venture. After reviewing the technical analysis and cost estimates, TBC’s vision aligned with GEO MATIC’s, facilitating easy funding.
GEO MATIC’s expansion plan includes three phases. The first phase involves installing devices throughout the capital, coupled with a comprehensive advertising and marketing campaign to increase the company’s popularity. The second phase involves expanding to other Georgian cities through franchising, where interested individuals can purchase and operate equipment with support from GEO MATIC. The third phase aims to extend beyond Georgia’s borders, targeting the markets of 15 former Soviet Union countries. Negotiations are currently underway with Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
