Georgian football deserves a place among the grands! – This is stated in the statement of the French Embassy in Georgia.
The embassy congratulates the Georgian national team on obtaining a historic ticket to the round of 16.

In the third match of the group stage, Georgia defeated the Portuguese team 2:0.
With this result, the Georgian national team gained 4 points and entered the round of 16.
